Ash Hopkins

Ash has been teaching guitar and piano lessons for almost a decade. He studied Music Theory and Composition at College of Charleston and later opened a recording studio in the Charleston, SC area. He plays piano, guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, tin whistle, and is proficient at engineering and music production. Ash lives with his wife and son in Weaverville, NC. For the last 4 years he has been touring the country with Abbey Road Live (a Beatles tribute) in the John Lennon role, while completing a degree in mathematics from UNCA. Ash tailors his lessons to each individual student and focuses on ear training, empowering his students to hear the language of music and to learn how to play the music they love the most.
